Basketball is now in full swing in the Steel City on the collegiate and prep level. The CSU-men and women opened up conference play on the road with mixed results. The men lost a 1 pont heartbreaker to Adams St on Friday and then lost to Fort Lewis on Saturday to start out 0-2 in conference play. The women beat Adams and lost to Fort Lewis to start out 1-1 in conference play. The Thunderwolf men and women hit the road again this weekend to take on Colorado Christian and Colorado Mines. We'll have both games right here on HOMER 1350. Our coverage will start at 5:15 both nights. Jim Brooks will provide the play by play. Still very early in the season for our high schools but keep your eyes on the East boys and the South and West girls. Talk to you good folks soon.
